This could be a good series. Both teams play great defense, I expect low scoring games. Rose probably won't be a 100% but I think the Bulls will be fine. Sixers lack a closer. Game 1 - Sat April 28, Philadelphia at Chicago, 1 p.m., TNT Game 2 - Tue May 1, Philadelphia at Chicago, 8 p.m., TNT Game 3 - Fri May 4, Chicago at Philadelphia, 8 p.m., ESPN Game 4 - Sun May 6, Chicago at Philadelphia, 1 p.m., ABC Game 5 * Tue May 8, Philadelphia at Chicago, TBD Game 6 * Thu May 10, Chicago at Philadelphia, TBD Game 7 * Sat May 12, Philadelphia at Chicago, TBD, TNT *if necessary
Sixers offense just isn't good enough to win a playoff series even if the Bulls don't play that well.
Even with Rose possibly missing games, this series should be a wrap in 5. Echoing the point made above -- Sixers offense just can't make magic happen 4x against a Thibs defense. They'll pull one out at home tops.
Let's see if Evan Turner can step up and be who he was suppose to be. They'll need him to play amazing to win this series.
Same Rose as last year's playoffs: jacking up Js, bricking them. But his team is so great they still win. Can't believe people think WB isn't better than him. He shot 39% last year in the playoffs, with a few hot shooting games to save it from 35% the entire playoffs. He's a bad shooter, and yet he still shoots jumpers. And it's not all of his injuries. He's just not a very good shooter, and yet the types of shots he takes are blasphemous. EDIT: Bulls too deep for the Sixers. This is when 76ers fans hope Iggy wasn't just a good player.
How Bulls succeed is offensive rebounding pretty much. Team doesn't even have top 5 talent in the playoffs.
Collins is so dumb. You have Evan Turner on Rose in single coverage. He's going to drive all day. Put a quick guy on him to force him to shoot Js.
If Iggy continues to play like slop, Sixers should go ahead and mail it in. Brand is killing the Bulls when they back off or double off penetration, but nobody else is stepping up. Rose finally showing a pulse. Very bad news for the Sixers. Even when Boozer seems to play OK, his limitations are very apparent. The Sixers need to turn up the defense big-time to have a chance. Otherwise the Bulls could blow it open.
The Sixers are just not very good offensively. Against Chicago's D they'll have a tough time socring all series long.
