Is that Brand at center? Also, is Fizer playing SF or not? Who does he defend? gettingbranded...can you give us a Fizer-review.
I know Brand doesnt play center, Fizer plays sf. He defends other Small Forwards. Thats all I know. ------------------ "You look a team that's been to the mountaintop like the Houston Rockets, I'm going to put pressure on myself to be the best possible player that I can be. With the pieces they already have in place and myself, we can do some amazing things next season." Maurice Taylor
I watched about the first 5 minutes of the Bulls-Nets game last night and Brand started at center and Fizer started at PF opposite Kenyon Martin. ------------------
Heypartner - Bulls game is on WGN right now. ------------------ "You look a team that's been to the mountaintop like the Houston Rockets, I'm going to put pressure on myself to be the best possible player that I can be. Honestly besides Shaq which NBA ceter could Elton (or any other above average center) not guard. Dikembe is the next one I think of and he doesn't have much of an ofensive game. Most other good centers are just PFs anywyas (D. Robinson or Duncan) or aging vets with limited mobility (Dream, Ewing). I see no problem of playing a PF out of position at the 5. Besides Shaq thwere is no other physically dominant offensive player who he couldn't match up with. ------------------
The Bulls do play some small ball---with Elton at center, and Fizer at the four---but I can't honestly say the results have been successful or even encouraging. Fizer does have the ability to play, and play BIG at the NBA level. Unfortunately it's been extremely difficult for him and Elton both to get into their groove while sharing the post. It makes me sad, but one of the two HAVE to be traded. It's no secret that the position we most need help at is the 3 (Artest is sweet, but not of the same caliber as Brand, Francis, Odom, et al.) The player we most needed out of this years draft was Miles, and the only one coming up next year that could suitably fit the role in my eyes is T. Morris from Maryland. ------------------
