    So Ben Wallace got benched because apparently Skiles has a ban on headbands. Why is that? I thought headbands actually had a purpose (even though many players wear them for the hell of it). It just seems stupid to me.

    I vehemently disagree.

    Even though it was for Rudy, I don't want to see Yao sporting a red headband or any headband ever again.

    maybe it is just an excuse to bench wallace, since he isn't that effective anyway.

    headbands help people like big ben keep their hair up...so i'm guessing scotty skiles is jealous cos he's balding... :D

    If it was Lebron, Skiles would make an exception. Ben Wallace has been ineffective without another big player(Rasheed, Dyess) to help him. PJ Brown is not as effective as Rasheed.

    It's a stupid rule, but an even dumber reaction by Wallace. That was a junior-high move.

    Headbands help absorb sweat, making sure sweat doesn't blur a player's vision. Thus, they shouldn't really be banned.
