    Bullard hospitalized following ski accident; Yao and T-Mac will enjoy the popcorn. Live blog tonight 8 p.m.

    Matt Bullard was injured in a skiing accident on Wednesday morning in Sandy, Utah. No details of the accident are available. Bullard, who suffered a concussion, was kept overnight in at a hospital in Sandy. A CT scan was performed and he will stay overnight for observation. Former Rockets and Jazz head coach Tom Nissalke will do the color commentating duties along with Bill Worrell for tonight's game.

    I hope he's ok. He's done a couple of ski trips, when in Denver for one, and Bill was nagging on him about possibly hurting himself and not being able to announce the game...

    When people nag about something bad, it always seems to happen ..

    Good thing it's not a concussion and nothing else - more people than we'd like die from skiing accidents or become vegetables doing the sport.

    Love him. Used to personally answer letters I wrote him when he was coach. I was five. Those were handwritten.

    I asked him about defense and what number Rick Barry would wear.

    mann i remember when i went skiing in california, i ate it HAAARD, my skiis flew and i landed on my face, im surprised i didnt get hurt, i was going pretty fast too, the reason i fell is because i couldnt stop :eek:

    Ex-player suffers broken bones

    Rockets broadcaster and former player Matt Bullard was injured in a skiing accident Wednesday morning and visited a Sandy, Utah, hospital for observation.

    Bullard suffered a fractured orbital bone, fractured nose and a concussion. A CTscan was performed, and he was released from the hospital to travel back to Houston with the team.

    Dust on crust will do that to you. I live in SLC and I have a cast on my foot right now due to breaking my ankle snowboarding a few weeks ago. It sucks!! I feel for ya Bull. Get well soon.
