This is the prime reason why I don't bother with these contests. The guy that has led the league in 3 pt percentage is left out because he is not a marketable, nationally recognized player. Since the statistically best 3 point shooter in the league will not be there, what's the point of having the contest? ------------------ There can be only one...
bullard no longer has enough attempts to qualify for the leader board...in addition, if he did qualify his percentage would only be 9th... that being said, bibby does not qualify as well (he has 1 less attempt than bullard, but bibby's percentage is higher).. for that matter, reggie miller(3), dell curry(4), allan houston(7) and jimmy jackson(2)aren't in the competition either so it's not a 'bullard' or 'rocket' thing...
That's a joke. Someone better call the league office and get this straightened out. He's been the best shooter in the league for a long time now and he's starting. The Rockets have always struggled to get players into this contest. It's upsetting. Bullard could win that thing. And they know it.
Bullards not in it because Hakeem is still bothered by the injury, meaning Bull wouldn't have Hakeem winging his passes to him.
Those of you screaming for Bullard to make the competition may want to look at Bryce Drew's #'s. He's hitting 42.3% (to Bullard's 42.9%), but Drew has shot 41 more 3ptrs. Sometimes I think we hate him so much, we overlook the good stuff (I'm guilty of it as well). ------------------ Rocket fuel pumps through these veins...
perhaps bull was left out because someone saw his opening quarter the other night when he shot 0 of 7, or because the don't want him scratching the floor with the nails that come out of his shoes
Exactly, Bobrek. Jackson finally learns how to shoot the damned thing, and he doesn't make the shootout roster-- but Allen Iverson does?
