.. because he sure is playing like him. Absolute choke-fest. I know it's early into the season, but these are warning signs that should not be overlooked. I really don't think that season opening rust should be considered a factor anymore. The dude's stroke just looks off, his shots are bricking BADLY. His release is inconsistent and sometimes he rushes wide-open shots.

I'd love Chase to regain his mojo, but after this horrid of a three-point shooting start to the season... he might lose all confidence that would have really excelled his game this season. If he doesn't have a stellar game soon, I'm afraid he's going to go down the path of Head.

I really wonder what is contributing to his suckfest... nothing in the preseason hinted towards him having this bad of a start... he was always considered a consistent pure shooter... What is the problem?

No to mention that he is one of the worst defenders in the league, at a position where we REALLY need defense with our tiny backcourt.

I'm guessing the Rockets like the philosophy of having one good defender among a lineup of defensive misfits.

    Lowry-Lee-Budinger-Hill-Miller

I was at the game versus the Wolves. He was even missing most of his shots during warm ups too. Def. not good. You know what I think it is? Its because he hasn't played with Lowry because of his injury, but last season those two played well together and Lowry can get him to his spots. That and Lee taking some of his shots away.

Even though he shot 3-10 tonight his shot looked good, it was coming off his hands much more cleanly, I think he got a couple blocked which accounts for his poor overall shooting percentage.

I think he will be fine.

Dude missed most of training camp with that ankle injury - of course his shot is going to suffer from it. We all know he's a great shooter though, he'll be fine.

    The dreaded sophomore slump.

Bring in Dunleavy to cover PG, SG, SF in the meantime without giving up any major assets. When all is healthy and a superstar becomes available package his expiring contract with Brooks and co. for that guy.

I saw a flash of brilliance returning to Chase's game after two consecutive buckets. And then he just releases an ugly shot, horrible form, horrible release, bricks it badly...

Hopefully it's just because Budinger is not getting open shots...

It's just a matter of time before he breaks out of the slump. I recall him playing very well preseason so he hasn't lost his shot over the summer or anything like that.

Bullocks, it couldn't get any better.

He flashed it tonight esp when he went left and hit the jumper at the free throw line. Watch his feet he hasn't been setting them and his jump on it isn't as high. He'll be fine, the team however I'm not so sure.

Maybe he's gay and part of the D.A.R.E. program?

For me throw in a couple drinks and that's a fantastic night.
