Look at how much production the Bucks is getting out of their bench and Giannis out of guys around him and then compare that to the Rockets. All year we had to hear how deep our bench was and supporting cast much superior, but these play-offs clearly show the Bucks have a clear advantage in that department.
Giannis develops some sort of jumpshot, and they are virtually unstoppable. Best team assembled since the Original Worriers. Good starting unit, very good bench. Good coaching and D. Brogdon isn't even playing much. Preposterous depth and just point production nearly everywhere.
meanwhile harden gets trapped and capela can't make open layups, paul can't dribble past a fuking jerebko
I think those are all mental mistakes that can be fixed with good coaching. That should be where MDA goes full Rage mode calls a timeout and scolds Harden/Cp3/Capela and whatever adjustments need to be made instead he just has the balls to do it to House JR. I coached competitive basketball for 9 year olds and thats what I did to comeback from a 10 point deficit to win the game, I credit Popovich for that. But in the NBA the star players can get you fired in a heartbeat
The Bucks played the Pistons (worse playoff team ever i think) and the Celtics (biggest disappointment of the season), but they also move the ball much better than us which is not shoking btw, Bud was with the Spurs for years, he did the same with Atlanta, now he has better, younger and more athletic players so...
Bud turned a roster in Atlanta of a 45-48 win team to a 54-59 win team, that's impressive. Now, he has a far more talented and athletic roster with a top flight superstar. If he had that Atlanta, they'd be one of the teams competiting for a Eastern conference supremacy. This is the weird thing --- If Budenholzier stayed in Atlanta, he would've ended up with Ayton, Jackson, Bagley, Doncic, or Young. As a GM, he probably would put a more competitive team, together. Milwaukee is going to be a beast for years to come.
It is easy to look good playing in the Eastern Conference. Last year LeBron went to the finals from the East. This year LeBron could not make the playoffs in the West.
