Anyone see that game? It was the wackiest ending. Nick Van Excel had a crazy game scoring 44 pts. With the game tied with seconds left, Cassell turned the ball over to George Mc Cloud who was on a fast break. Mc Cloud goes for t he layup and gets swatted by Glen Robinson. Cassell flies out of bounds and throws the swatted ball back inbounds to Mason on a fast break. Mason passes to Ervin Johnson who gets fouled. He hits 1 free throw to give the Bucks a 1 pt lead, then tries to miss the 2nd free throw to kill time (1.7 seconds left in the game). Except, he throws an air-ball! Van Excel tries a 3 and misses to end the game. Good work Bucks!
That was a good game. LaFrentz is still pissing me off though. I never thought I'd have to defend Issel, but Raef's sucking made me. I feel so dirty. Ugh. I'm upset about the no-call on Van Exel with under a minute left. Mason mugged him, and we didn't get teh call. I kind of think the foul with 1.7 seconds left was questionable too, but I'm proud of my team's effort.
anyone who watched the game shows how bad the refs were, althoug the last 10 seconds were fair enough. i dont know how you can make such a call at the end but they did. shouldnt have been a factor had they made about 10 other calls correctly in the 4th anyways. *sigh* life of a nuggets fan...we have to play 5 on 8 every night. but i do like the idea that rocket fans are rooting for us to lose. thats gotta mean something.
