After the failed pursuit of Teague, here's what a Milwaukee sportswriter said about the Bucks and Jennings:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>As u might imagine, Brandon Jennings isn't a happy camper. A sign-and-trade appears inevitable.</p>&mdash; Gery Woelfel (@GeryWoelfel) <a href="https://twitter.com/GeryWoelfel/statuses/356561009487523840">July 14, 2013</a></blockquote>
    <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I wonder how this would end. My guess is that the two sides come to an agreement and Jennings is back. Sure he's pissed off now, but how much is another team willing and able to pay him via a regular signing or a sign and trade? He needs a team and the Bucks need a point guard (they really should just let him go and let the team tank if that's what happens, but these guys like to fight for the 8th seed...)

Sign the qualifying offer, then Jennings will be free as a bird next summer.

He may cause locker room problems.

Jennings might offer slightly more "proven" 3 point shooting playing off Harden. But doesnt have the defensive tools of Lin. It'd be close to paying for Lin's upside that might not come. Lateral move at the price Jennings would want.

Agreed. He needs to do this and play out of his mind this year. You know, prove to everybody he's something more than just a volume scorer.

Dude shoots <40% and thinks he's a NBA first teamer who deserves a max contract. Morey would totally go for that.

I don't want anything to do with Jennings. He's just another prima donna fringe player who thinks he brings more value than he actually does.

Ormaybe no one's spoken to him since the season ended. Possible, if not likely.

Why would anyone pay this guy more than the MLE? Do you know how many PG's there are in the league who can hit 39% with a high volume of shots to go with a mediocre asst/to ratio and no defense?

The only money he's worth is because of the possibility he may turn his career around since he certainly has the raw talent. It all depends on when this guy is willing to look in the mirror and recognize that he's not who he thinks he is. He needs to realize he needs to improve everything in his game to even mention the words max contract.

Wouldn't trade anything on our roster for him unless he concedes that he's not a guy who should be taking a lot of shots at this point in his career. Right now, he thinks he's the next Derrick Rose, when he's really on pace to become the next Tony Delk.

AT the same price, yes, but he's going to demand a lot more. If you think Lin is overpaid wait till you see Jennings...

Jennings is good. If he were as good as he thinks he is then he would be worth the money.

I do believe that in the right organization etc etc he would be a valuable contributor. I'm not seeing that the 'right organization' is looking to prove that statement.

Jennings is 23 years old. The kid still has time to grow. He's also extremely clutch, unafraid of the big moment. I think he'll develop but others do not. Oh well!
