Soooo ... who's the guy modeling the new uniforms? One thing that completely sucks about the NBA is the amount of uniform change.
don't like the blue too much, there is too much blue in the NBA anyways, should have kept the yellow. The old unis however were terrible, this one is designed better so it's good.
Grew up in Atlanta in the Dominique days...Im not a fan of there being so little red... But I would deal if the team could actually put together a .500 season in this decade...
Im surprised no one has yet brought up the blatant stealing of the Rockets "Pajama" uniform's font & numbers.....nice job Hawks! My only complaint.....ANOTHER FREAKIN NAVY JERSEY! Since NBA Properties has put a moratorium on the use of black, they might as well do the same for Navy. I mean ...Pacers, Nugs, Wolves, Jazz, Mavs, Grizz, Nets, Wizards, Warriors, Clips, Bobcats...now the Hawks. The Hawks current colors should have stayed. And on top of that, another rehashed, recolored main logo (See Nugs, Jazz) I mean honestly, no one here should complain about the Rockets rebranding a few years back. If it wasnt for Eiko Ishioka, I shudder to think what NBA Properties could have come up for this franchise.....imagine a recolored, red and white "dildo" logo....
im pretty sure thats josh smith, how can you forget him from that dunk contest?? he put tape down before the free throw line, giving the illusion that he was going to jump farther than jordan did and he stepped a feet or two over it... i think that was the 2 years ago when nate beat Andre igodoula ? i had fun trying to spell his name...
not a big fan of the blue unis, but the home ones actually look kind of cool. it is odd w/ so little red - to me, red is the hawks color. it would be like if the rockets had new uniforms and red wasnt the primary or even secondary color and we know the rockets would NEVER do that!
their secondary logo remind me of the philly eagles logo the jersey do look better, at least its not those grotesque yellow jersey, though i wished they were just plain white and red instead of the blue
i agree. there are too many navy jerseys. there are also a few too many red ones. bulls, cavs, rockets, clippers, heat, nets, blazers, and raptors all use red jerseys. the cavs, clippers, and nets switch between the two most comon colors, red and navy. the raptors aren't far off, stiching between red and purple. now the hawks will be one of those red/navy teams. too much of the same colors!
Don't like how they got rid of the red, and the second logo looks like one you can choose on Madden NFL.
