    Lose-Lose for the Knicks now. Looks bad if he let him go due to money, now it looks worse if he let his emotions get in the way of business.

    In a weird way, this is the only 'logical' reason the Knicks didn't resign him. They had a few outs w/ his contract if Lin didn't pan out (expiring, stretch clause) so there was little basketball or financial reason not to. But I put 'logical' because the reasoning itself is terrible and proves once again Dolan is one of the biggest idiots in all of sports.

    NYK only put Lin on the court because they were running out of players. And Lin also happened to remedy that whole cable channel fiasco, reinvigorated MSG, and is the major reason why the Knicks salvaged last season and made the playoffs. I think Lin did his part.

    You know, the smart of your GM goes only as far as the other GM/owner's stupidity. I am glad that the Knicks FO has been quite stupid the times we deal with them.
