    The Offseason So Far
I'd have to say that so far my offseason has been pretty good. Of course, I haven’t been playing much basketball because I had ankle surgery recently; I’ve just been working out, keeping in shape. They took a bone chip out of my right ankle that's been hampering me a bit. I found out I had the bone chip towards the end of the season. But I’m already done with rehab and now it’s strong enough to play on. I’m planning on playing in summer leagues. I’m headed out to Salt Lake City in the middle of July to participate in one out there. Until then, I’m going to go lay out and get some sun so I have a tan for the summer. I’m enjoying the summer, but the itch to get on the court is definitely still there.

The NBA draft is coming up and I think we have the ninth pick. I don't have my eye on any particular player and since we have the ninth pick, we’re probably going to take the best possible player. I don’t think they’re looking big or small, just for the best player, so we’ll have to see who’s available at nine. I think it would help us out a lot to get a low post scorer, but that’s hard for rookies to do so maybe we’ll get a free agent. It also looks like Hakeem is coming back, but we’ll see how the offseason progresses. Right now, it's a waiting game.

He still thinks he's playing for the Rockets? Bryce Drew with a tan? Creepy!

I hope he gets on the court and gets better so that he can make some other team better next year. I like Bryce, but he needs minutes to play well. And plus he doesnt fit our system unless he really goes and works on his handles.

I hope he has a nice future in da league.

" He thinks he's still playing for the Rockets?" LOL

Ya that is the same thing that struck me. He "thinks" we have the ninth! Guess we can scratch him off the list of frequent visitors to this BBS, where it is not only known but discussed ad nauseum.

Actually, he must have been to the planet Rhome were there is no sport knowledge at all.
