    14 points, 10 assists, 6 boards.

Not bad for a guy half the board was screaming we cut in the preseason.

yes, I'm beginning to think that some of you (and you know who you are) should eat a nice big piece of humble pie. Maybe a public apology, perhaps on a bullit board of some sort would be nice.

Yeah, but he still doesn't work out enough, doesn't play defense hard enough, and has never won a championship. And all those points and boards are just evidence of his ball hogging. He's stifling his teammates. Bench the bum.

Oh, wait, sorry -- I thought we were talking about Charles Barkley. We're talking about Bryce Drew? Dang, look at those numbers! I guess we haven't appreciated him enough, eh?

Guys .. Ok he did well but im not impressed by him that much.

End of games he rushes everything. He runs soo fast and shoots the ball and only takes like 2 seconds off the clock. Thats his problem. He cant handle the ball right and doesnt know how to play well in end of game situations. But his shot is looking better.

francis 3 ...but you're never impressed by anything he does so your opinion doesn't really count anymore...weren't you the one whose argument about why he sucked was because he looked 5? his shooting wasn't as on tonight but he was stepping up to fill some pretty big shoes..not bad

Bryce drew is getting better in everything Francis3. The only problem i'm seeing is that he picks up his dribble too quickly sometimes. He tries hard and is a good backup for stevie.

    But think about this...

Bryce may not have as good of dribbling skills as many other point guards, but do they have as good of a shot as he does?

No man .. I said he was 11! [IMG]

Wow i didnt know his shot was that off. I thought he had good shots. But he made 3 from downtown. He passed the ball really well early in the game. But the last couple minutes.. I wanted to go and kick his sorry ass. WHY DOES HE RUSH IT? tell me why. Also he cant handle the ball correctly. He shouldnt be in at end of games..

Someone back me up on this...

I dont want him to have awesome nice looking dribble. A normal dribble that he can go up the floor without running 100mph.

Did anyone see Jason Kidd's stat line tonight? It's unbelievable some of you can still find something about Drew to b**** about.

Frankly, right now the Rockets are a better passing team with Drew at the Point. They still have not figured out how to play with Francis controlling most of the shots.

It is coming, and I like what I see, I owe Shandon an apology, when he threw that pass that cost us the 1st Phoenix game, I was livid. He is playing inspired ball right now. Offensively and defensively, he is cutting, going back door, I love the way he plays.

DaDakota...man enough to admit when I am wrong....which according to my wife is quite often. [IMG]

I can't believe he is doing this. I wanted to try swindle Detroit into taking this guy. Apparently Im not a guru on talent and properly evalutating players. Props to the Rudy T for sticking with this guy and not listening to BONE HEADS like myself (((whats with my dumb name anyhow????)))) Is there any way I can change my name and keep member status????????

Hey there are a lot of guys deserving apologies.

Hamilton - for all the silly fat jokes before gving him a chance to show what he can do.

    Thomas - see Hamilton

Rudy T. For al the dump Rudy posts. geez guys this is a new team, give him some time to understand the team,s strengths and weakneses before firing him.

This team is geting better with each gameand i for one am very excited about thsi season despite all the losses. Then again they would not be the Rockets if they did not put us through some gut wrenching moments.

Francis3, I believe his hair is greasy too. His shorts aren't baggy enough. He runs with a slight limp. Do those help you too?

People who perform consistently deserve credit and you are simply incapable of giving it in this case. Drew has talent, like it or not, and while he may opposite in style to Steve Francis, that doesn't mean that he is no good.

Drew does one thing in my mind that has helped this team tremendously, think pass first. He takes shots when he is wide open, but when someone else is open he does not hesitate. He made people better out on the floor tonight by getting the ball to them. Their is alot to like about him and his play.

I have griped a lot about Bryce being in the game in the 4th quarter (and Bull)but even I have to admit his defense looks much better now and he has done a very good job in Stevie's absence. And since his shot is falling now, I guess I have to eat crow along with not half but most of this board. I'M SORRY BRYCE - I AM YOUR SLAVE!

But let's keep in mind it's human nature of the "fan" to ride high on a winning streak then to be down on the team and players when they aren't playing well.

So I don't want to praise (lol) Bryce too much yet till I see if he is consistent. But I will apologize for not thinking he was even this good.

I am impressed with Bullard too. I see more fight and determination in him than I have ever seen as a Rocket.

HOWEVER, I don't have to eat crow about SHANDON ANDERSON cus I knew all along he is a very good player and I have defended him the whole time. WAY TO GO, SHANDON!

    GO ROCKETS!

I'll admit it, I was wrong. Bryce Drew is coming along nice, and will make our bench that much stronger once Steve comes back.

The best thing that Bryce has going for him is his work ethic. If you try hard, you can do anything within your physical capabilities. That's the thing I like best about Bryce.

You guys need to quit worrying about what Pippen33 or Francis3, whatever name he wants to go with says. The guy is not evaluating his basketball talents, just some personal thing against him (his appearance evidentally) and no matter what he does Bryce will always be bad in his eyes. So forget him.

As far as Bryce goes, I have been defending him for some time, saying the guy can play, just give him some time. Now 4-5 games in a row here, he has really done well and deserves his due. Heck, the guy out played Jason Kidd tonight, that has to say something. I think we all need to trust Rudy on this one, that given time this kid will impress you. Nothing fancy will come from him, he will make mistakes like everyone else, but he is solid player. A couple more games like this, and I know my boy Hardwood will hate this, but I am going to start the Bryce Drew Fan Club.....

I had said earlier that Bryce has alot of talent that is completely non-physical, these are called fundamentals. Drew has a great shot. But what I liked about him the most tonight was the way he got the rest of the team involved. Some good passes tonight.
