The titles seem a bit too definitive given the evidence, but they may be on to something.

If this is true, I'm guessing Ghostbusters and (hopefully) Brutal Legend will be picked up by another publisher. Not sure about the other games.

I really hope Brutal Legend gets picked up by somebody. Tim Schafer puts out the best games, but they always underperform in sales. Psychonauts was my favorite game of the last generation, and Full Throttle and Grim Fandango are among my all-time favorites. I've been looking forward to Brutal Legend for quite some time.

    Definitely keeping my fingers crossed.

is this the same ghostbusters game that I played at comic-con this past weekend? weird i thought it was a pretty cool game (not sure if I would buy it) but there were a lot of positive feedback from the people around the booth playing it.

    Yes.

IIRC, they're making the Wii/PS2 versions right? I've only seen stuff for the PC/360/PS3 version, but given the praise it has received, how far along in development it is (basically done), and the IP, I don't see why it wouldn't be picked up. Seems like better odds than most of the games listed anyway...unless Activision controls the rights and won't give it away very easily for some stupid reason.

    noooo not Brutal Legends.

Someone better pick that up. Despite how it fell apart at the end, Psychonauts was a great game.

According to the Double Fine blog (hover over the image):
    http://www.doublefine.com/news.php
Brutal Legend is fine...or at least that is what they want us to believe.

Red Fly Studios seems confident that Ghostbusters will be published as well:

Ghostbusters, it would seem, has the potential to sell pretty well. I would think someone would hold on to that.

Good news (hopefully) about BL. I should have checked TS's blog. Usually pretty entertaining.

That's good to hear. Hopefully this won't have too much of a negative impact on the game and the developer(s).

I am a little worried about the other games though. Maybe not so much 50 Cent, but I was interested in the Riddick remake and any additional World in Conflict games (think they were even talking about closing down that studio?). The XBLA stuff could have been interesting.

The first chronicles of riddick game for xbox was really cool. Oh yeah - Ron Artest should be in it because he is also awesome.

Leave him alone. He's playing with his new Rockets team (now that he traded Artest to them) on NBA 2K8.

I feel about the same as most other fans. I wasn't that big on getting Artest, but since we didn't really give up much, I certainly am excited by the deal. I was looking forward to seeing Greene as a Rocket, but the Rockets would have been lucky if he even ended up as good as Artest (and that would have been years from now most likely).

I tried to make the trade, but the AI GM for the Kings laughed at this deal and it didn't go through.

    Actually, I don't even have NBA 2K8. :(

did you play in any of the SF4 tournaments? I played on thursday I did ok, but didnt get too far. SF4 is great cant wait to see a console version out soon, though honestly I would hit up arcades to play it if they even exist anymore, there is nothing like having a joystick and the button layout in front of you like that.
