    I was walking up the ramp Sunday heading to the Texans game and I saw a guy that looked alot like Scola walking up the ramp below me. He had on a NBA shirt, so putting two and two together was not that hard at all. I waited for him, welcomed him to Houston and asked could I take a picture, he agreed. Then my friend grabbed him and posed with him. I didn't get a pic with him because I didn't want to be anymore of a nuisance and it seemed he was really in a hurry, not sure if he was excited about going to the game or if he had to take a leak. Either way, he was very nice, very tall. BTW, no one else knew who the hell he was, it was like me and my friend were the only guys who keep up with the Rockets.

    nice dude! glad scola's trying to immerse himself into the culture here in houston. hope he can adjust fairly quickly and make himself feel at home :)

    i'm sure he'll catch a couple dynamo games, he must like soccer a lot

    So did he look like a legit 6'9" in shoes? Some posters claimed he was 6'8".

    I don't know. We were on a ramp, so judging height isn't that easy. I just knew he was easily the tallest person on that ramp.

    His looks, I am not one to judge how another man looks, I will leave that for others, but he has a definite 'unique' thing going on. If he comes in and plays half as good as I think he is going to, he will be the new sports 'hunk' in this city with the ladies.

    As far as not seeing the pics, they are hosted on Flickr, so no bandwidth issues. Flickr might be blocked at your job or something.
