Bruce Matthews: HOF finalist

One of my all time favorites.

 

Matthews/Munchak. Those were the DAYS.

 

Pretty cool feeling when you actually have an offensive line, that too a dominant one that owned the trenches.

 

Not only that, but was able to dominate during the run and shoot years without the benefit of a TE.

 

He was the definition of Bad Ass

Back to the original topic, Bruce is a 1st ballot HOFer for his excellance & longevity! Bad a$$ on the field & a heckofa good guy off. Congrats a little early, Bruce!

 

Heck yeah! Two great Titans....I'll never forget the Music City Miracle.

Matthews deserves to be in there on the first ballot. Great player and great guy. I had the chance to get to know him (and Munchak) when they worked very closely with the charity organization my Dad worked for. Just an amazing guy on and off the field. Both of them. 110% CLASS.

 

Munchak, Matthews, Steinkhuler.....man 3 great picks in the first round.

bruce matthews holds the record for most games played in the nfl and his brother clay is third on that list. unbelievable.

Jamaal Brown is the ANCHOR of the New Orleans line, and happens to be starting in the pro-bowl for the NFC. But yea... Charlie says there isn't a "difference maker" at O-line for the club, so we don't draft one (he also says the O-line isn't the problem, and Seth Wand and Todd Wade are more than adequate... yea... )
