Who do you think is better known? I remember when I was young, growing up in U.S. ( I was not born here), some American classmates mocked me by asking if I'm Bruce Lee and does these martial arts hand signs ( I'm not Chinese). So, for some reason, these youngsters knew who Bruce Lee was, long after his death. But I did not know who Michael Jackson was. So for me, I would say Bruce Lee is better known. What do you think?

Definitly Bruce Lee. There are just too many good musicians out there even before Wacko Jacko. Bruce Lee is a pioneer. Michael Jackson is not.
i thought the poll was about who was more well known. there were lots of musicians since beginning of time. Bruce lee wasn't the first guy to do kung fu. so he wasn't a pioneer. he just made it on film. as far as well known, did bruce lee's death dominate the international headlines like this? no.
I think Bruce Lee is more widely known around the world than Michael Jackson. If Bruce Lee did live to today and die. It would be just as big or even bigger than Michael Jackson. The only reason Michael is well known is probably because of all the negative stuff surround him more then his musics. Bruce Lee die in a different era and he die before he was worldly famous. But if you're talking who's well known and respect around the world. It's gotta be Bruce Lee.
The first thing usually come to when you watch any martial art movies. Bruce Lee usually come to mind. Can't say the same thing about Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson might be well known in America, Europe and part of Asia. But his music isn't Universal.
