This is a thread for the old guys on the BBS (or anybody with bad eyesite)

AOL Browser has an excellent "Power Browsing" feature that allows you to "Zoom In" on the page you are looking at. Makes everything LARGER. There are many sites that drive me crazy with small fonts that give me headaches trying to read.

I refuse to use Foxfire (memory issues, and I have no idea if they even have this feature) and find AOL Browser works for me.

So if anyone wants to ENLARGE the page they are viewing, I highly recommend it.

    http://downloads.channel.aol.com/browser

Just right click any page you are on and click on "Power Browsing" and then click on "Zoom In Page"

A cool trick for those people with mouse that has a scroll wheel, you can zoom in and out of webpages by holding down Control then scroll up and down. Pretty neat.

edit: oh yea, it works in FF and IE.

Opera does the same thing (zoom in/out on pages). You could also use the mouse wheel as a shortcut, as mentioned.

If you are using IE, can't you just go to View in the menu bar, and then Text size?

    This thread makes me cry.

Either AOL is lining the inside of your wallet with gold and you have no shame...or you're clinically insane.

    That is all.

Why is this new? IE, Firefox, and Opera all allow you to expand the size of your text as well.

Oh, you want a "better Internet"?

    Boooooo AOL!

Way to prey on the ill-informed.

i love how you can never cancel that POS AOL. stupid rep would always say, we'll give you 3 more months free. and of course, i'd say, ok. then 3 months later i repeat the cycle until i said the hell with it. cancel my ****! this was in 1999.
