The two Philly beat writers on outside the lines on espn both said they expected him to wind up with the Clippers, (though they noted houston would be a good 2nd choice)and today's NY Times carried this in a story about his departure: Look I know it's close to home, but jesus christ, that's the worst franchise in pro sports? Just ask for a heart attack at 62 years old if you want to torture yourself larry!
Their roster is juggled every year by the tight ass himself - Donald Sterling. I guess if you lived there in the offseason it would be cool, but lets face it.... the Clippers suck!!! Browns best bet is Houston, and he is stupid to think otherwise. Let him anguish in Clipper hell if he wants to. Doesnt sound like much fun to me....
I heard Stephen A. Smith report this last night, too. Why not? Lakers on the way down. Clippers have talent. Why did he leave the first time?
Cincitucky has upped themselves with the coach hiring and giving him some rope. Clips are the standard bearer for bad franchises.
Then there MUST HAVE BEEN TAMPERING!!!!!! But why did Larry Brown resign on Monday?!? Like the day Les Alexander was interviewing Mike Dunleavy and Jeff Van Gundy?!? He resigned earlier..........cuz Rudy stepped down early. But if he goes to the Clippers.....that would be disappointing...LARRY, DON'T LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE SHELLIE OR SHEREE
True, at least cincinatti made it to 2 super bowls; Clippers and Finals don't really fit together in a sentence.
He sold his home in Malibu, and he was just interviewed about this on the Tony Bruno show, he sounds like he has some serious reservations about the Clips, as he should. I would bet money he comes to Houston. DD
Let's hope so. The guy seems to like challenges. The Rockets w/Yao Ming aren't much of a challenge. They will be good regardless.
