With Lowry we have one of the worst starting point guards in the league. Say what you will about Brooks but Lowry has proved to not be up to task of feeling his shoes. Lowry's defense is better but offensively you don't have to guard accept on drives and because you know he is a runaway train you can just wait for him to come in for the charge. Lowry is a great energy pg off the bench. He serves that role magnificently. He comes and plays hard nose defense drives it to the basket and out hustles the second tier players that guard him. As a starter he is going against the best and he is not surprising anyone who has scouted the Rockets. He is not starter material. Too many turnovers., can't shoot and plays out of control all too frequently. Brooks on the other hand is deadly behind the arc. Is actually a better penetrator and is at least an equal passer as Lowry. Yeah his defense is poor but it's not like Lowry could stop rose either. You need team defense for players like that. Brooks came out of the gate sloww this season. He didn't adjust to his role. which should be a distributor first. If he does that he is adequate at the pg spot. If not then we need to start looking for a replacement. Lowry is not that replacement. At least not the way he is playing now.
I miss everyone when they are injured or gone.. We will never be satisfied. We will probably be b****ing again after brooks returns I mean hell people are calling for rafer to get resigned, I mean really guys

The chemistry is better without him, unfortunately chemistry can only make up so much for talent level disparity.
I think he did fine tonight with the first unit. Scola was getting his and so was Battier. Martin was off tonight.. I think the second unit would be better with guy like AB bc his role would change. He could be the first option and look for his shot.
I don't really think Lowry played that bad? This team misses Brooks, for sure.. because without him we do not have a lot of talent. But I still believe his talents are best served in a 6th man role.
Didn't Rose lock up AB the last time they played? AB thought he was getting fouled and went into quit mode. I we miss AB not as a starter but an off the bench scorer.
