With Chuck Hayes and Kevin Martin expected to play tomorrow night and Brooks starting to look like his the pre-injury Brooks, is it time to start him and bring Lowry off the bench?

Huh? Outplaying? Ok, sure...... He will start, not because he is better but because we have to keep his stock up for when we trade him. Doesn't look to good when you lose your starting job to a bench player. :p

No, he is better. Ridiculous to say otherwise. I will take Aaron, who can create his own shot, and in turn shots for others over Lowry. Don't get me wrong, Kyle is great. Good rebounded for a pg, good passer, pretty good defender, and a freaking pest, but to say he is better is just wrong.

Yea if they were both 6'6" SGs you would be 100% correct, but fact is they are 6'0" PGs, so Lowry is 100% outplaying Brooks at the job they are REQUIRED to do.

What exactly are they REQUIRED to do? I guess ab didn't lead a broken team to an above .500 record last year? Lowry outplayed someone who has not stepped on the court in about 1 months dude. Aaron didn't forget how run the offense in a year.

poll should ask who has better hustle.

imo kyle all the way. ab can make shots but dosen't hustle for the ball as much as kyle. AGAIN IMO.

should i put on on the flame suit???

Look at the team record before landry got traded to after landry got traded.

Look at the team record when lowry is playing to when he got injured.

Then tell me that AB led the team to an above .500 record.

Again? When we need defense much more than offense, you think another dose of Martin/AB would help?

As long as one of Brooks and Martin are injured, we're good.

The question should be whether to start Brooks or Martin.

Then you add Scola to the mix....too many defensive sieves in the starting lineup.

As crazy as it sounds, I agree with this. Start Brooks and Lowry. Let Martin pull a Ginobli an come off the bench. H can still get 20 easy, especially against 2nd unit D.

AB was arguably the best player and led the team last year and they were above .500. Don't know what else to say. Your argument doesn't make sense. That's like blaming kyle for our record this year, he has been the starter for the majority of the time and we haven't done squat.

And I think we overrate his defense. He's decent, but not the elite defender yosome make him out to be. An AB/martin backcourt is not any worse than one with Lowry. Seriously, you act like ab gets posted up for 30 points a game. Ab/martin is nearly unstoppable.

What is the W-L record of an AB-Martin starting backcourt from both this year and last year?
