    Along with Big L, The Notorious B.I.G. holds the crown of New York. Today is the 13th anniversary of his murder, and I just wanted to show love to one the greatest MCs of all time. Here's some of just a few lesser known favorites.

    I loved Biggie back in the day, especially considering I was at that impressionable age (teen) when it seemed that much better.

    That said, the point of "repping" Biggie and Tupac on the anniversary of their deaths every year? All kinds of famous death anniversaries happen every day, yet these two guys death's are memoralized every year on BBS' across the world?

    Well I thought that was given. I'm pretty sure everyone has it marked on their calendars. But lesser people known about what Biggie achieved in his short rap career. First "real" rapper to go Diamond. I don't count MC Hammer.

    Dude gets way to much recognition. He wasn't around long enough to deserve any of this "one of the best ever" talk.

    Saying Biggie was one of the best ever is like saying Len Bias was one of the greatest basketball players ever.
