It's an interesting read. Would you take 15, 22 and a first next year for the #1 pick?

I would need more than that to do the deal. Like, oh, say, Champ Bailey. :)

    From article:
They’ve worked too hard and trading into the #2 spot would leave them vulnerable to a Jets trade up to #1 for the QB they covet.

I wouldn't trade #1 for 15, 22, and what is probably a pick at the very end of round 1 next year. I don't think thats enough.

I say no to this deal . Its just not enough IMO . Maybe if they threw in Ashley Lelie to take care of our # 2 WR situation along with these picks , it might be worth it . :D

Eli trade set standard and it's a whole lot higher than this 'idea'.

    1. Green Bay trades their #5 pick to Denver for the #15 and #22 picks

    2. Denver trades #5 pick, #61 pick, and next year's first round pick, for the #1 pick.

    3. We draft DBrick, move Chester to RT.

    Maybe, maybe no?

Still not enough. Basically that would be #5, #61, and what is likely to be somewhere around #28 next year.

The deal with this draft is, if you are going to trade the No 1 pick you better still stay in the top five and be able to grab one of the other blue chippers ( D' brick, mario williams, aj hawk.) Otherwise you will not be getting enough value.

imma need about 2 picks if they are going to be 1-10 range

    3 picks for 1-20 range

    4 picks if 1-31

5 picks if its all of the first round and maybe a first 8 picks of the 2nd round.

    Sound fair?

I wouldn't do it at all, if I were the Texans, I wouldn't trade out of the Top 7.

I'm thinking bull**** on this rumor. They just signed Plummer to a gigantic contract extension and would probably have to take a pretty big cap hit and cut him or have the most expensive backup QB ever. This just doesn't seem to make any sense from the Broncos perspective.

That is my opinion too. I mean otherwise instead of Bush etc. we are looking at Chad Jackson (for example) as our big additon. Sure we can get another player at #22, but it's a big mistake to pass on the top talent. That deal is hardly what I would consider Godfather.

    Big fat NO.

Trade our #1 pick for a handful of FUTURE scrubs. They go on to win their way to the playoffs, and we watch our team lose like a rural high school team for yet another season.

    Pffft.

Yeah, it'd take the Broncos to do some more manuvering from Denver to get the #1 pick from us. They have to get at LEAST the Packers #5 pick, and then package Lelie or something along with the #5 pick to make it worth our while, not to mention more stuff.

So bored. At work...I should update my site with made up draft rumors to drive up traffic :)

    Sounds totally fabricated.
