Just wondering what you guys thought about the Denver backfield this season. My thoughts are that if ANYONE is healthy and getting plenty of carries behind that line, I want 'em. Unfortunately that hasn't happened much. But now that TD has retired, will Anderson move back to RB to get the carries or will it be Gary or Portis? I'm thinking of taking a long shot at Portis in the last round or two...whaddya think?
Due to experience, Gary will likely get the job to start, but by the end of the season, it will be Portis' job for the taking. I think that's pretty much the sportswriters' consensus opinion on the two...and as such, it's not really worth drafting either of them except in the late rounds...and then to get both. Kinda like an insurance policy, I guess.
