http://www.theage.com.au/news/people/britneys-topless-standoff/2008/01/14/1200159322746.html Man, I've never liked BS, but now I'm really starting to feel sorry for her. I mean, how did her life get so ruined?
I'm wondering how much does she have saved up? I know she has many millions but I don't know if she can keep up her lavish lifestyle with no real career at the moment. She's only 26 and obviously she can't do this forever..
gosh, imagine how much worse it would be for her if she actually became bankrupt and had live on the streets ...
leave it to britney, while in her most tumultuous rock bottom period, to pique people's curiosities of seeing her nakey.... ..and give the people what they want, with a NEW SONG for 2008! http://toxicbritney.com/ In all seriousness though...this poor girl needs help in the worst. not by publicity whores like Dr Phil and anyone associated with media, but by people who truly care about her. its sad really...
She still endorses products and merchandise, she prolly still has a record contract, somehow her albums/dvds/books still sell and she gets her cut. I heard somewhere (I think from that E! show It's Good to Be...) that she's worth over a 100 mill. She's not going to be in poverty anytime soon. Unhappy and crazy maybe, but not poor.
Even if her financial advisors made pretty conservative investments on her net worth and averaged 10% a year on her money, she could still live a life of extreme luxury without even having to draw down from her actual accumulated savings. I'm not sure if she gets royalties on each video of her's they play on the television or song from the radio, but that usually adds up quickly. She doesn't seem to be as crazy in her spending habits as I've heard people like Michael Jackson or Iron Mike, so I wouldn't be too worried about her being in the poor house anytime soon.
Hope she finds someone that can really help her out so she can get her life straightened out. I know its easy to take pop shots on celebrities, but I honestly couldn't care. Truth is bad publicity and gabbing on about them and how much you hate them is still marketing. What's funny is all this time spent hating on these celebrities, means the haters still buy magazines like the National Enquirer just to dig up more dirt on why the hate them more. Fund the people you hate! It makes so much sense. Real hatred, which isn't even that, but if you want to get payback on these celebrities, you just ignore them. Eventually the media will follow through when the ratings drop, and then they're just millionaires few people give a damn about. They'll still be sitting pretty on the money they've made, but at least you won't have to hear about them on every news station.
Whatever. I'll save my pity for people who actually deserve it (kids with cancer, disabled war vets, etc.) I couldn't give two ****s what happens to this spoiled little tramp.
I hope she gets sorted so her kids don't continue to get screwed by having such a wack job for a mom. DD
