Wish she was starring on the Spice channel... http://www.news4jax.com/entertainment/4346467/detail.html LOS ANGELES -- Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are so sick of paparazzi and tabloids that they're creating their own reality series that tells it their way. Variety said they've sold it to UPN, which plans to get this six-part series on the air by the end of May. UPN will air the show on Spears' courtship, engagement and wedding to Federline. Mostly it's video that Spears and Federline shot themselves. It shows them dating, falling in love and getting married. Spears said she's turning the tables on the tabloids and revealing the truth about her love life. Spears and her new husband will apparently y "host" the series, walking viewers through the story of their relationship, Variety reported. On March 30, Spears lashed out at what she called "False Tabloids," writing an open letter on her Web site. In the letter she wrote, "As you read this letter, I bet you are asking yourself: Who? Who, me? Am I a false tabloid? Well, I don't know. But after this posting, I hope you are asking yourself a lot of questions. Your employees are a reflection of your magazine. Do you, Us Weekly, In Touch, Star and other desperate magazines want employees who are honest, or those who are liars? It seems to me that you'd prefer the latter. I'm really concerned about the people you hire to work at your companies. I'd like them to ask themselves the question, "What am I lying to myself about?" Is it that you are 50 pounds overweight? Is it that your children aren't making wise decisions? Or is it maybe that your husband or boyfriend is cheating on you? Until you face what is going on in your life, I guess you'll remain a false tabloid." Spears also wrote that People Magazine is great in her book.
It can only mean a new album must be coming out around then. Memo to Britney: If I want to watch The Newlywed I'll stick to Jessica and Nick.
LOL, everyone watched The Newlyweds with Jessica and the Backstreet Boys dude. So now, of course, TV executives are trying to copy a good thing instead of coming up with anything original. Wasn't there a show with Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra that tried to copy this formula? No one watched it and it only lasted 1 season. Now, Travis Barker (Blink 182) is getting his own married life reality show (that no one will watch) and now Britney. Please...
The Newlyweds with Nick and Jessica is awesome. Jessica Simpson is hot as **** and yeah i mostly watch it because of that, but it's also the comedy which draws viewers' attention. Chicken of the Sea? Buffalo Wings? LOL.
Ugh.. could a human being possibly look more like a barbie doll? She has a great body, but the only way I'd hit it is with some tape over her mouth and a bag over her head.
she has moments where she looks totally hittable. But I agree, barbie doll is not appealing on the whole.
No kidding... I always thought she was a human Barbie. About the same level of apparent intelligence, too.
C'mon, she is not butt-a-face...She has gotten way too skinny for my tastes (I like my girls a little thick/athletic), but of course I'd still hit it...She has huge cans, nuff said...
Wow... Britney Freakin' Spears can't do better than UPN? I might have actually seen it otherwise... but I can't remember the last time I flipped past UPN much less left the channel there.
I'm surprised MTV didn't pick it up as a replacement for the Newlyweds. It would do a lot better there than on UPN.
It's a sign of how far she has fallen. She will be posing for Playboy within 3 years, and doing hardcore p*rn within 5 years.
