By Lionel Cirraneau, AP In her second surprise wedding this year, Britney Spears, 22, married Kevin Federline, 26, on Saturday evening, a spokeswoman for the singer's record label confirmed Sunday. This time, the pop princess traded her trucker hat for a tiara as she wed Federline at a small, secret ceremony at a private home in Studio City, Calif. Rumors were rampant that Spears and Federline, who became engaged in June, would marry later this fall. But the pop star exercised her prerogative by surprising everybody — even her own mother and sister. Mom Lynne and little sis Jamie Lynn were among about 20 stunned family members and friends at Saturday's nuptials. According to Access Hollywood, which spent Saturday afternoon with Lynne and Jamie Lynn, the family was preparing for an engagement party. It's the second time this year Britney has pulled a fast one on her family. On Jan. 3, she got hitched in jeans to childhood chum Jason Alexander in Las Vegas. That marriage, characterized by Spears' camp as "a joke (taken) too far," was annulled 55 hours later. This five-minute wedding was held at 7:30 p.m. at the home of the tailor who created the bridal party's tuxedos, according to Star magazine's Web site. Star reports Spears wore a strapless white dress by designer Monique Lhuillier, with long veil and tiara, and that she carried a bouquet of pink and white roses. Five bridesmaids and the maid of honor wore burgundy dresses and carried red roses. The groom and his groomsmen wore black tuxes. Invitations for an Oct. 16 wedding in Santa Barbara had already been mailed, according to Star, but that event is now being billed as a post-wedding party for the newlyweds' friends and family. Spears gave no hints of wedding jitters in the days before Saturday's ceremony. She was in New York most of the week to launch her perfume, Curious, and catch a performance of Wicked on Broadway. Her new single, My Prerogative, was released last week. Spears and Federline, a backup dancer on one of her earlier concert tours, met again at a Hollywood club in April. Federline has two small children with his ex-girlfriend actress Shar Jackson.

By any chance, is she totally pregnant? One of the other articles said there were twenty to thirty people at the wedding; they ate chicken tenders and ribs and listened to music from a boombox. Sounds like my wedding, except I was a poor graduate student instead of a multimillionaire.
