It is dishonest to take the most extreme statements and try to pretend that they represent a whole.

If I was interested in demonizing rather than honest debate I could post a statement from somebody in the Klan, and then make a sarcastic comment about how much conservatives really aren't racist.

The tactic is dishonest, and weak. I am happy that nobody is taking the bait.
