Am I the only one that dislikes Drexlers commentary during games? The Mutumbo impressions really got old and the redunant phrases about every player. Calvin was great......hey thought back franchise! why not murph? His legal troubles with his daughters were proven it was over money and he was never convicted of anything. Perhaps have Bullard for the away games and Murph for the home games. Thoughts?
Calvin had a good show today on 97.5. He had CD in studio and they talked about Rockets past, present and future. Someone called in and asked about Jordan's absence in the Rockets championship years and Calvin let him have it. I found myself laughing at his Murphyisms.

He was great straight forward, and great in person as well. I've met him several times and he always had time to talk to you or take picture, autograph. Good guy! plus him Bill Jelled well together. The zuit suits!

we really don't need a thread like this every 6 months.. yes, the majority of people would prefer he come back. Yes, Drexler has improved but still isn't great. Yes, Bullard knows his stuff but isn't the most interesting. And yes, Van Chancellor had his share of supporters by the end of his run and improved a lot. Good enough summary?

bring back Calvin! I saw Drexler working out at the houstonian the other day. Him and a few buddies were just goofing off, not really working out hard. I saw him do about 120 on the leg press. There is no way he's actually that weak. I didn't want to start a new thread about it because I have no pictures and didn't really want to bother him. If I did talk to him I would have told him to quit and demand Calvin come back... oh and give McGrady some pointers on how to be the man in Adelman's system.
