Hi guys, since the offseason is pretty bored, how about lets review some most exciting game threads of last season, such as TMac's 35sec/13pts game and/or Yao's 27pts/22rbs/6blks game? You know what games I'm talking about. What you think? Or we could have a poll? It should be fun to review those fantastic posts again.

Avoiding the most obvious (t-mac's miracle vs the spurs), my favorite game was against Denver. At that point everyone was gushing about Denver's recent surge (winning 24 out of 26 or something), neglecting that the Rockets were equally as hot. All the type towards the game was "George Karl has this team playing like a contender" blah blah blah.

The final scene -- Moochie Norris and Torraye Braggs playing garbage time in a blowout.

sura's fast break alley-oop to tmac during that game was my favorite play of the year.

I think you are referring to the game against Golden State. I don't remember an alley-oop from Sura to T-Mac in the Denver game. I have the game video

Yea, and in that same game, after Denver raced out to an early double digit lead, Tom "Mr. Clean" Tolbert remarked that "it looks like the varsity playing against the junior varsity out there." The result of course had us winning by 20+ in a laugher.

Brent Mussburger however didn't waste any opportunity to remind us that "Naah-ne" was starting because Marcus Camby was out due to an injury. Remind me to put it on mute the next time those two clowns do a game.

This was also the game where the guy said, "I love a front runner." I believe Rockets2K caught that and replayed it a couple times. It was after the kid put a TMAC jersey over his Melo one.

    heh.

yea, I liked that so much I looped it a couple of times in the highlights..:D

here's a idea....I dont archive the xvid versions of the highlights....but I imagine some folks out there probably have...so waht yall should do is to post the highlights for the games you thought were really great...

that way people who either werent around or didnt get them at the time can see them...

I was just watching the Rockets/Cavs game highlights you posted last season at my friend's house. It was freak'n sweet watching all the highlights, I think I may have a few in my computer in Austin.

    Someone should start a thread.

ok, I really want to see yao's 27/22/6 performance again.
it's sweet to see Amare got blocked 5 times in a game.
Can anyone post the highlight? :D

I think I have that one at home.

    Here's one of my favorites:
I love to see the rockets dominate an opponent. On Tuesday, March 1 2005, we slaughtered the Bulls. They were beating so badly that early in the 3rd quarter, when we were up by 35 points, their coach benched all five of the players they had on the floor.

Check out 3:53 into the clip.

Bill Worrell: "You see this in college, don't you? But not very [often] do you see this in the pros. He's taking everybody off the court. He's putting in a whole new team. Scott Skiles has said, 'I've seen enough.'"

Click here to get the clip
    - and say "thank you" to Rockets2K for making it in the first place.

The home game against the Cavs was R2K's best highlight game from last season.

Ugh, reading that NBA LIVE 05 post reminded me off why I hate the ESPN NBA video game. They had some cool clips being played in some of the cities during the intros on the big screens, but in the Houston on the video they chose to show was Yao getting crossed over and falling on his ass.

I mean, come on. That is supposed to be where we have a nice little intro video, not a laugher towards us. We just can't get no respect from ESPN, not even in the fantasy world.

Okay. I've got it. That game was on March 11, 2005. Click here to download the highlights. Click here for the box score and recap.

I also have the entire spurs game for Chinesetaco. It's 631 meg, though. I'm gonna have to figure out how to start a torrent for it.

Rockets2K - do you have any pointers on how to start a torrent for the file?
