    This was posted before, when Rock 101 had just gone off the air.

    Doesn't matter to me anymore! Bring on more MEGA101!!!

    (I actually refused to listen to anything but this Station the first week it was on. My friends wanted to kill me.)

    They aren't going to do it. Ken Charles, Clear Channe's manager for their stations in Houston, was on one of their AM stations a couple weeks back making fun of former 101 listeners saying maybe now they could spend more time with their bongs and **** like that.

    Why bring it back? 101 sucked since the early 80s. I'm glad it's gone.

    Ken also had a real classy exchange with my jocks at Reliant Sunday. He's a kick you in the nuts kinda guy...I can't wait to stomp out his sports station/experiment/blatant cash grab over the next few books.

    I don't miss the station, but I do miss the Morning show. Man...

    I don't mind the new Mega Station. I listened to it when I was in houston.

    I don't know why people make petitions like these. Do they really think a major corporation is going to reverse itself on a decision like this? We're talking about a lot of money, a lot of labor, a lot of planning. If CC saw a reason to switch in the first place, no number of names you could muster would make them switch back.

    What's funny is that Ken Charles started as just a gopher boy at KTRH years ago. He never had any real skill, just wanted it more than most.

    He can really be a jackass to people who aren't on one of his stations. He's the poster boy for the phrase "what goes around comes around" because he has burned a lot of bridges and payback is a b****.
