man they are really screwing you over on drinks more than ever.

Does anyone know if Toyota Center has a designated driver booth so I can get a free coke to put my Jack in?

    Details?

20 oz beer last season was in the $7.50 range.

Hit up the BUS or Live beforehand, get yourself in a good place, and you should only need 1 or 2 more in the house to keep happy. But that's just me. I'm not going to the Toyota Center to get hammered.

All the more reason to bring a cooler and "pregame" in the car before walking to the arena.

take a couple of tequila shots before the game. by the time you get there, you'll have a good buzz. then again thats also my strategy for night clubs.

When I drove down from Dallas to watch Game #7, I had a 6 pack in the car & drank them while riding around in the peditaxi with my bullhorn hollering at people, including cops! ;)

I was very nice. I was saying "HOUSTON", people would say "ROCKETS". I was yelling at people NOT wearing red. I only had a home jersey & I left it at home so I could wear my red Rockets shirt. I had red socks, red underwear, red shirt, red shorts, red shoes, red laces & people were wearing white. So I let them know.

When I was talking to the cops, I would say "Good evening, sir" & they'd wave.

I just cant imagine the thinking of you guys! If you are really fans of the game you would wan't to have a clear mind un incumbered by alcohol. You wouldn't want to miss a single thing about the game would you? Where there is alcohol there is trouble, it holds true from generation to generation.
Or is it that you just don't have the self confidence to socialise without being out of control?

I typically don't drink at the games, but last night's game was beginning to be a snore of a game, so I needed a drink to keep the party going, haha. Well, little did I know a double crown and coke for myself and a margarita/dacairi or however you spell that would cost me 27 bucks and some change. So with tip...30 bucks...for two drinks. Um, last time I do that, just give me mountain dew and I'll stay hyped on the caffiene. At least the double was more than a double.

Isiah Carey complained about the drink prices in his blog.

$51.00 - WERE THEY DRINKING PLATINUM JUICE!

I was with some friends at the Houston Rockets game New Years Eve when they went to order drinks. The attendant at the Jack Daniels bar brought them three drinks back and when she gave the total I was shocked. $51.00...for three drinks. It left me bothered so I had to do some investigating to see if they were drinking platinum juice. I was told it was two vodkas and one whiskey. After further investigation I discovered they received what the attendant called large drinks. But that would still make the cost $17 each. I thought it was outrageous - what about you - do you think that's a bit high?

LOL! I experienced that too. I explained to the bartender a drink few people know how to make (2 parts Vanillia Stoli, 2 parts Sprite, 1 part Coke = best Creme Soda drink EVER). She thought I said double & each drink was like $17 . . . IN a tumbler sized glass!
