My Bday is coming up, and I let my sis talk me into this as her 'gift'.
Im not sure what to expect. Im one of those dudes that hates the dentist.
Not that I dont take care of my teeth, I just dont like another persons hands in my mouth.

I was hoping to bring my laptop or put a movie on the ipod to pass the time.
I heard it takes an hour and a half.
Can anyone share some more info???

It costs less to go to the dentist and get trays made and have a year supply of the gel. Actually the gel lasts much longer than a year.

The last time I went I brought it up with the assistant. She recommended the Rembrandt 2 hour teeth whitening system instead of a $500+ professional whitening. Well I went ahead and tried the Rembrandt and was very impressed, especially at the fact that I was able to save about $480!

I spent 5 hours in the dentist chair at once back in June/July. An hour and a half is a breeze.

they dry your teeth out..... something like that

they put some gel on your teeth, then shine light on it for a while... the one i went to (galleria), had ESPN/MTV and some few other channels, but i just slept thru it

I strongly recommend Listerine's Whitening Pre-brush Rinse. That along with regular brushing, post-brushing mouthwash does the trick for me.

I have tried the Crest Strips before but wasn't a fan of those. I didn't notice a difference plus they make your teeth ultra sensitive.

This stuff works. My teeth were not bad but were not that bright white I wanted. A few weeks of that stuff made a noticeable difference.
