    can't really blame him though. the ND job might not be be around after the bowl game, and the game against florida isn't exactly cakewalk. now cincy can move on without all the distractions.

    Honestly, I think it is complete horse***** that coaches can walk out on their players midseason/contract.

    If I'm a recruit, why would I *ever* pick a school because of the coach now? Chances are he'll get fired or leave by the time I graduate.

    Really unfair to the players, some of whom look to these guys are their father figure.

    Agreed, and this is the NCAA-mafia-run sport in which players get investigated and suspended if they have lunch with someone and don't pick up their own tab.

    I've got a lot of issues with the NCAA, and this definitely one.
