    Reefer Madness.

AB played nearly double the minutes. And perhaps it was an anomaly due to matchups or GSW style of play...

but, i hope it is a sign that Reefer can no longer bamboozle us, his teammates, management and coaching.

Can we finally acknowledge that we have no future with Reefer?

i would love to see earl watson as our back up.

or do you think theres a chance of rafer+head for hinrich?
even though you guys know he tore a ligament in his shooting hand on his thumb. (hinrich)

would you guys pull the trigger on that trade?

    Nah,

I think Adelman saw Brooks was playing well and wanted to get him some confidence for the rest of the season so he left him in there.

    He played outstanding basketball.

Adelman just goes with who is playing well when it comes to the PG and PF positions it seems. I wouldn't look any further into it.

    Rafer 22 minutes

    Brooks 42 minutes

THANK YOU RICK. Finally a smart decision.

    Amen

Rick should retain this attitude and make sure that only the best players (on the day) are there on the floor in the 4th.. bench star players if necessary

Earlier this season there was a game Brooks finished and got more minutes than Rafer.

    I doubt this means anything.

Not really. If that was the case Alston would have been banished to the bench long ago and Brent Barry and Wafer would have had more PT by now. I'd say he rolls a six-sided die before every game to determine how much PT a player gets. Unless it a close game, in which case the starters will close the game out no matter what, 'cause they're starters, and starters will always play better than the bench in all instances.

Adelman has got to go with whoever has the hot hand on the day. Both Brooks and Rafer are erratic players.

I guess Aaron's protracted streak of suckage has been instantly forgotten. Yay.

Don't get your hopes up. I would imagine his increased playing time was strictly due to the matchup.

We can only hope and pray that Reefer Mandess is over. There are 29 other NBA teams that hope it continues.

I have my fingers crossed but I have a very strong feeling he will go right back to Rafer the next game.

Adelman has pissed me off with his free pass to Rafer so far.

I wish we could have hired Sam Mitchell as an interim coach before hiring Adelman.

If you want Yao to be your fist option, you can't have Brooks logging heavy minutes in most games, he's a horrible entry passer

Wait... one good game after a months worth of 32% shooting and Brooks is the new hope again?

AB is in his second year. Rafer averaged about 2 pts a year in his first 2 years.
