    The picture, in a way, shows how difficult of a situation this would be. Such a wide range of emotions going on there.

    I teach K-5, and can tell you: lockdowns are the worst. Kids get scared, even when it's just a drill. You have to explain to them what a lockdown is, and to see the realization in their eyes that school isn't their safe place any more. It's just very, very sad. :(

    CNN reporting eyewitness who was in the school in a meeting with 7 other people....heard pops in the hall....3 went out to hall to see what was going on and only one came back, shot in the leg.

    She cowered under table and called 911.

    Never saw shooter. "Must have been 100 rounds."

    Police marched them out in the hallway by the 2 bodies laying there in a pool of blood...school principal and school psychologist/counselor.

    Its' that time of the year. Probably, some dad who lost custody of his kid. Real tragic.

    Damn thats crazy. My prayers go out to the victims & the parents who have not yet been reunited with their kids. Absolutely horrible situation for anyone

    We don't have elementary school shootings on an annual routine basis.
