YoYao's BBS is the King of the BBSes.

moestavern19, arguably the most sought-after internet poster in BBS history, announced Thursday night on a nationally televised special that he would start posting on the YoYao board and leave the Clutchfans board.

“Goldbricker” will join YoYao mainstay CRC and newcomer The_Yoyo. tavern19 instantly brings credibility to the YoYao board and makes it an entertaining read for years to come.

“In this fall — this is very tough — in this fall I am taking my talents to the YoYao board and be posting there,” said tavern19 on ESPN in an announcement made at 9:28 p.m. from the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich, Conn., on a made-for-television special. “I feel like this is going to give me the best opportunity to increase my depth as a poster and rack up even more little green boxes.”

“There’s magic in the number three,” CRC said in a statement. “This is the beginning of a new chapter in the YoYao board history.”

“We are thrilled that moestavern19 and The_Yoyo have decided to come to our board to join forces with our truly great poster, CRC,” YoYao board founder, YoYao said in a statement. “We are looking forward to the opportunity of building something that other posters on our board will be proud of for a long, long time. The journey is just beginning.”

Clutchfans reacted angrily after the announcement. tavern19, who has posted for the Clutchfans his entire ten seasons after being adopted as a Texas boy despite growing up in Lompoc, California was shown a clip of Clutchfans founder, Clutch deleting his user account .

“I can’t get involved in that,” he said. “One thing that I didn’t want to do is make an emotional decision. I wanted to do what is best for moestavern19. This is a business and I had ten great years on Clutchfans. I hope the rest of the posters will understand. Maybe they won’t.”

When asked about the likely possibility of being giving the finger when he crosses path with some of the Clutchfans posters, tavern19 said: “Hopefully the other posters will be respectful. I don’t expect them to be.”

With other BBSes in the mix for tavern19, including his own Clutchfans, Hoopworld and RealGM, speculation Thursday leaned toward tavern19 choosing YoYao's board. tavern19 said he made the decision Thursday morning.

“I went day to day,” he said. “I’d wake up one morning ‘it’s this board.’ I’d wake up another morning ‘it’s this board.’ This morning I woke up, had a great conversation with my mom. Once I had that conversation with her, I was set.”

CRC, 28, tavern19, 28, and The_Yoyo, 26, all are friends and in the prime of their careers.

CRC, a medium range poster, is a six-time All-Star on the YoYao board who lead the board in total posts and has been on the board from its beginning.

tavern19, a heavy volume poster, is a two-time Clutchfans poster of the year and has eleven green boxes to his credit. He has won one posting title and was voted funniest poster on the BBS a record 8 times.

The_Yoyo, a high quality, low quantity poster, is a five-time All Star Clutchfans poster who is right behind tavern19 in number of green boxes obtained on the Clutchfans board.

Getting more posters to join the YoYao board will be a challenge, but tavern19 is confident YoYao will be successful.

“YoYao has been there,” tavern19 said. “He’s knows what to do when it is summertime and what makes people fomfotable. And he’s going to do everything in his power to make sure we have great posters on this board for years to come, for multiple years to come. This won’t be no one-and out-thing.”

The YoYao board's stunning off-season validates YoYao’s master plan to get even with Clutch that he put in motion several years ago after being banned from Clutchfans. YoYao had an eye on this summer with every move, clearing as much room as possible.

“This decision is about posting and it’s about posting and winning multiple BBS championships,” CRC said Wednesday.

By joining the YoYao board, tavern19 is taking the gamble that his legacy and reputation will be diminished because of CRC’s presence. If he wins a overall BBS title, some will say he could not win without CRC.

tavern19 also clearly is willing to cede his stature as the most dominant poster in town. CRC has held that title on the YoYao board ever since it was started.

“For me it’s not about sharing, it’s about everybody having their own spotlight and then just doing what is best for the BBS,” tavern19 said. “CRC is the unselfish guy here to have The_Yoyo and then moestavern19, to welcome us to his team.”

Just a week ago, YoYao board followers feared the worst after CRC met for a second time with the HoopWorld, his hometown BBS. Now, those same fans are dreaming of the BBS’s next dynasty. And tavern19 turned around the fortunes of two BBSes with his announcement.

"Hopefully YoYao can get others to join his board to post with us. Guys like RavenLunatic, dylan, Zac D are guys that are blue collar but unknown posters to many on Clutchfans. They would be superstars on the YoYao board. Also, we have got to talk OmegaSupreme in joining too but he'll have to go by 'ViennaSausage' if he wants to post with us."
