There doesn’t seem much chance that the documents case goes to trial before the election. If it does I fully expect calls for how politicized the timeline is to have a trial so close to the election and even during earlier voting.
Judge Cannon is making sure it's not going to happen. Of all the accusations of bias in judges, this one has a direct and relevant past history and the legal reasoning to support that Cannon is extremely biased and is giving the Trump defense what they want – delay (to kill the trial). And as said many times before, that's just too bad because Trump is very likely to be convicted here. The evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of the prosecution.
Yes and unlike, in the NY trial it is easy to point to the rulings that were biased. Cannon has already been overturned in the other Trump trial for bogus rulings.
.... and the crimes themself are much more serious. Those is the kind of crimes traitors and people committing espionage are put away for years for. These are the types of people old KGB guys like Putin embrace, bribe, and use for the benefit of their mother country.
lawfare not only includes fire-hosing your target with indictments, but fire-hosing complaints at any judge that gets in the way as the ruling notes, spamming complaints at a judge is a violation of the Judicial Code of Conduct https://www.uscourts.gov/sites/default/files/guide-vol02e-ch03.pdf
You interpreted that very wrong. Orchestrated complaints might be rejected if they're essentially duplicates, but they don't violate the Judicial Code of Conduct (nonsensical). People have the right to submit complaints; there's no breach of the judicial code of conduct, which pertains to judges, not ordinary individuals. These complaints focus on judicial misconduct.
Heh... if it somehow protects the convicted felon and adjudicated rapist? I am sure he will say now he does.
Jack Smith should file new charges in NJ. It’s obvious Judge Cannon will entertain any motion the Trump side makes no matter how far fetched.
