...you know, I said awhile ago that I didn't think Judge Cannon was stupid.

    Just dumb.

...is this about where I should place that "...two different things can both be true at the same time..." line?;)

I’m pretty sure if Trump were offered a deal to testify against someone else too he would do it.

The issue though is the other 18 defendants are contemplating the strength of the case as well as Trumps ability to win. If he can win, then this case can essentially be put on hold indefinitely if not dismissed. Does that mean that they can be tried separate from Trump… possibly but that would require team Willis to try them all separately which they don’t seem to want to do.

So if you are a co-defendant, Trump winning in 2024 is a real thing that’s causing you to pause on taking a plea deal. If Bidens polls shoot up my guess is that’s when you’ll see them start to plead guilty.

IMO loyalty has little to do with it and all of these people got in bed with Trump because of self interest and narcissism. Sidney Powell was a nobody. Rudy Gulianni was an alcoholic opining on his glory days, Jeff Clark was a nobody at DOJ suddenly with the opportunity to be AG, etc etc.

These are all self interested grifters. Yes a lot of them also drink the Kool Aid too but in the end it’s about the fame, power, and money. None of these idiots are truly loyal to Trump. They just literally think he’s their best chance at both staying out of jail and also giving them a chance at real power if he takes office again. If Trump takes power again, every one of these co-defendants will be thrust into high ranking positions in his admin.

So him playing a prank with Jedi mind tricks, joking around, and having some fun is a criminal offense now??

This is a perfect example of why it’s so difficult to take all these politically motivated indictments seriously.

A classified document relating to an intelligence-sharing alliance of which Australia is a member was among those allegedly found on the floor of the storage room at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate,

Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong has responded to the document

When asked about the Five Eyes document alleged to have been found at Mr Trump's resort, Foreign Minister Penny Wong on Saturday said the Five Eyes intelligence alliance was "important"
    but would not comment further.

I do not think he shared classified information with the Saudis or Putin. Why would anyone think that?

Classic example of media twisting things to make Trump look bad..

    There is big difference between:

"You dont know anything about the boxes."

    vs

"You dont know anything about the boxes?"

Just where did the "?" go??
