Why not work him out, meet with him, have our docs check him out? Maybe he'll only be able to play one or two years but he is and has been better than most point guards in the league during his career, especially as a scorer... he ate us up every time we played the Blazers. Why not give him a chance?

Who knows, you may see them go there if Dragic and Lin sign elsewhere and Lowry remains committed to being traded...

Count me in 100% on this one. I would LOVE for us to at least "kick the tires" on this one. Roy before injuries was a top 10 player in the NBA, and if he has his quickness back, we already know he has the j and the killer mentality. I say DO IT!!

just noticed i typed point guards.

    fail.

i'm sick of the K-Mart show. I'm ready to see him gone, that guy is such a waste of talent. bring in Roy and get some value out of K-Mart while we still can via trade.

Sign him to the minimum and we're on to something.

If he's truly healthy he will probably get more than that from somebody...

Doesn't the dude lack cartilage in both his knees? What did he do to fix it? Because in the end if you're lacking cartilage in your knees, you're not gonna last even half the season.

We don't need a veteran of the bench guy, we need to rebuild with our youth.

If Brandon Roy wants to play some ball, that's cool, but let him go to a half decent team that has a chance to contend.

We are stuck in mediocrity, which means we suck anyway and can't contend, so let's just rebuild already.

But ignore my comments if we somehow land Dwight and some other dudes. Then I'll be happy to have B-Roy playing off the bench :)

Apparently he had the same Surgery McGrady had few years back so maybe take a chance for the minimum for a bench guy. I can just imagine, he was pretty slow player before such as driving to the basket etc. and now after the surgery...

We might as well make a run at T-Mac too then while we're at it. (according to the story he did on Nightline the other week he is 100% healthy).

I'm serious. I'd take Roy and/or T-Mac for that matter on the Rockets.

If we make no trades for a star, what would be the point if we're finally go young? Would having him as a mentor be worth it, since we wouldn't be competing?
