Don't think this is even close. Lloyd. Walter is best suited as a #2/#3 option. Lloyd can be a #1 option on some teams, and a great #2 option on the great teams.

Can't believe they got him that cheap. I can't help but think the Texans just assumed he would command more. I'm also assuming those incentive are easily attainable so more like 3 x 5 mill, but thats still cheap for a player as good as him.

He's better than Walter. Although Walter is better than people give him credit for, he's not as good as Lloyd.

Texans have to be looking at WR early in the draft.

I think the texans have some kind of problem with him for whatever reason because there is no way they shouldda not looked into this for this kinda money or traded for him for what denver wanted during the season

but I completely disagree about walter, he is worse than people give him credit for. He is useless if he's not blocking. He aged A LOT this past season

well, brandon lloyd always wanted to go to the patriots, he wanted to follow McDaniels, so thats other reason they got him for cheap.

The only person in Houston who would take Walter over Lloyd is our very own Ric.

Talk about one sided. There are usually a vote or two for the other player when it comes to these polls.

I'm curious who Kubiak would prefer. Not his direct answer, but what he really thinks behind closed doors.

You left off Gary Kubiak. Also: Mrs. Walter.

$4MM/year for what would essentially be our 4th or 5th option on offense is a luxury this team simply can't afford.

Lloyd became a great receiver under McDaniels, was traded to St. Louis, where McDaniels was OC. Now he signs with the Pats, where McDaniels is OC.

McDaniels+Brady+SB contender = Lloyd just wanted to be there.
