A man was found in his 20th floor office, dead. There was a puddle by the window, but the window was closed and the office door was deadbolted from the inside. How did he die? 3

I don;t know the answer. Is anyone familiar with this one? I need to get the answer to quiet someone down. Help please!

He hung himself from the ceiling by standing on a HUGE block of ice. The ice melted and left a puddle behind.

    could've froze to death.

a/c machine is usually on the window sill of high rises like new york. It was too cold and it froze the machine, so therefore the puddle.

    or

or gas to death, he probably peed himself after he lost all control of bodily functions when u die.

That's not a very good brainteaser. There's not enough information to rule anything out.

I mean, you could say that he had a heart attack and that could be an acceptable answer given the facts given.

I'd say he killed himself with an ice pick, then the ice melted.

Unable to enter her employer’s apartment for five consecutive days, a concerned maid calls the police. The police sends you to the scene. After you break open the door to the apartment, you find a man hanging in the only room which is completely empty (no furniture or any objects of any kind are in the room). The floor is wet with water. The doors and windows are locked from the inside. You quickly determine that the man committed suicide. Your assessment is confirmed when you find a note in the dead man’s hand: "I have decided to challenge you, detective Hector. Can you find out how I killed myself?" The letter went on to describe his life. Then he ended by, "and as George Bernard Shaw expressed it: ‘I’m sorry to have written such a long letter, but I didn’t have time to write a shorter one.’" How did this man kill himself?

Actually there are a lot of ice companies here in town that you call up and you can buy ice blocks. Like when you want to do a shot block or something like that in a club you call them up and they have the ice blocks.

I've heard people use ice blocks in Austin to sled down the hill by LBJ library.

It's a darn good hill to slide down! That one, and the South Mall, when it's all frozen over.

I think it had to do with the fact that he was on the block for so long while it was melting so he was forced to write a long letter. Apparently a clue to help you out.
