With MoT out , Braggs will see a substantial amount of minutes just to fill in what is missing at the power forward spot. To be honest, i really don't think Mo is such a defensive threat, but offensively he will be missed. Braggs has to stop some great big man in the league, but it will be most positioning in the paint and Braggs will do just right.

    Come on down!!! :D :D :D

Let's see some rebouding and put-backs! He's got a knack for great positioning and timing! The guy knows how the block-out!!!

I love his game. He seems short, but he's got great hands.

Every team needs a player like Braggs. He hustles and play smart basketball. He reminds me of Carlos Boozer.

This is Braggs' time to shine and I think he will be better than people think. His muscle, energy, focus on D, and relentless approach are exacly what we need at the 4. If he can produce some gargabe putbacks and hit the midrange jumper, so much the better.

And Padgett is a wily player who should provide a good change of pace depending on matchups.

Looking forward to seeing what happens.

Absolutely agree. NBALP did not show any pre-season games and so I was clueless about Braggs until the regular season...and I have been very impressed for all the reasons you mentioned. You can just see from Braggs' body language that he takes every minute on the court with a sense of urgency. But without the sense of panic that often accompanies it for inexperienced players.

Braggs is this years Juaquin Hawkins with noticeably more talent.

IMO, Padgett was a steal. He is very fundamentally sound...doesn't take bad shots, decent passer, has learned JVG's defensive rotations, and always plays within himself...a solid role player with a different skill set from Cato and Braggs.

MoT was putting up 9.8 ppg and 4.5 boards in 23 minutes. I think these two can match it. Oh...and something I just thought of...the Yao only fans ought to love this...Braggs and Padgett will definitely pass Yao the ball! :D

If Braggs style of playing is just like Malik Rose, I think the search is over! I would say a good 15 to 20 minutes playing time is what he is getting.

    Hey KALIKULI and silvercat!!!

Carlos Boozer and Malick Rose are very good comparisons. Both of them "undersized PF" that outplay/out-hustle their competition. What they lack in size and height they make up in jumping quickness, great hands, great rebounding technique, and timing. Very good basketball knowledge too!

Braggs seems to be of this type of player.

Sure, he'll have trouble with TD and Garnett. But who doesn't? But that's why we have Yao! :D
