    He was a 2nd round draft pick from last year, who went to play in Greece and develop his game for the NBA. 6 foot 7 shooting guard with good scoring ability. Any word on how the kid is progressing? All I could find about him was this, which sounds encouraging.

    Newley is soft as crap and can't even dominate the NBL let alone contribute the NBA

    that one game mentioned by the OP was an abberation.

    should of said - forget about him already.

    he's not worth a roster spot. Never will be.
