at the end of this season. Have any of you paid attention to what he has done this season when given starter's minutes? I have to admit that he is on my fantasy team and therefore I may be a little biased, but his stats speak for themselves.

Note: The following games are when he gets at least 30 minutes...

Oct. 31 vs. Indiana: 24 pts, 9 rebs, 7-10 FG, in 36 minutes played

Nov. 10 vs. Charlotte: 22 pts, 7 rebs, 6-12 FG, in 40 minutes played

Nov. 13 vs. Denver: 25 pts, 13 rebs, 9-14 FG, in 36 minutes played

Nov. 14 vs. LA Clippers: 19 pts, 16 rebs, 8-16 FG, in 36 minutes played

Nov 17 vs. GS: 28 pts, 12 rebs, 10-16 FG, in 33 minutes played

I have watched him live on two different occasions. He hustles, shows emotion (unlike Cato), gets postion underneath on every possession, shoots at a high percentage, aggresively rebounds, and he is also a good passer. I suggested the Rockets trade for him before the season began, but that idea was shrugged off by some of you on this BBS because some of you thought he couldn't do much more than Cato could. I really believe Miller would be perfect for this team. If there is any possible way that Cato could be dealt away, then this is the guy the Rockets should try to sign after this season. I have no doubt he will garner a lot of attention throughout the rest of this season as well as in the summer when he becomes a free agent, but I hope Dawson can pull another rabbit out of the hat and somehow get Miller.

Remember, we almost got him 2 years ago, but Charlotte wouldn't take our 4.5 mill trade exception.

Rudy likes him a lot, and coached him in the 1998 World Games thing (the one where no NBA players played, and Rudy coached a team of CBA retreads etc. to a bronze).

He's a good role player. Good size, has a sweet midrange shot, very good rebounder, pretty solid positional defender, though not much of a shot intimidator (think T-Rex Willis).

According to RealGM, Miller won't be a FA until after next year. I agree that he'd be a nice addition to the team, but Oeilpere pointed out a while back, that his style of play is very similar to Collier's & unless they give up on Collier, I'd be surprised if they went after him. But, you never know. Anything to bury Cato on the IR would be fine with me.

Collier has nowhere near the ability that Miller has. To compare these two is like comparing apples to oranges. There is no comparison. Collier can't even stay healthy enough to play and when he does play he defines the word "slow". I keep hearing about his shooting range, but why doesn't he ever use it? Collier really stands out when he is on the floor but for all the wrong reasons. He huffs and puffs his way up and down the court and then we have to listen to Bill and Calvin tell us how much he can shoot, but that he needs to get back into playing shape. I get so tired of hearing that crap because Collier can't ever stay healthy enough to get into playing shape! Collier is just a white version of Cato with even less skills if you can envision that.
The only thing Collier was good for was inadvertently allowing us to trade for Griffin. It is time to lose the deadweight in Cato and Collier and go after some real talent in Miller.

Collier just sux, period. Miller is way better and is quicker. At least Miller is in the 2nd group of centers.
