I didn't see it posted anywhere. What do you guys think? I don't know if I agree with Rashard Lewis being the most overpaid though. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ys-forbesoverpaid112310
Article though makes it clear that it is based on last year's salary and numbers. It is confusing though because at the bottom it says "Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Cavaliers", but on Brad Miller it says Rockets when it should say Bulls (and same for Jermaine O'Neal -- says Celtics when it should read Heat). Miller made $12 million last year off the bench for Chicago.
I read the article, just didn't realize it was a forbes article. But if yahoo put it on their website their sports writers should of atleast proof read it.
Aren't 99% of all centers paid way above their production anyways? Decent centers are hard to come by so when one comes, teams freak out and throw G's on their g-strings.
Better than that. Miller's final year salary can be combined with other player salaries for matching purposes.
Out of all those players, most of them were worth the money the first few years of the contract (O'Neal, Z, Miller, Brand) but have declined in the latter years of the contract so it's not really fair since all contracts are back-loaded. Rashard Lewis is the only guy mentioned who has never lived up to his contract.
