All Star game is all about Fans and Fun. So don't get to p*ss if players you like/dislike didn't/did make it to the game!

Why would you take the time to create a new thread about something like this, and then not care to elaborate at all about what it is you're wanting to boycott? This has attention w**** written all over it.

How can anyone even begin to justify Tracy McGrady as a starting guard of the Western Conference? If the votes were rigged, then the NBA did the right thing.

first it's the voting then the two teams that get to the finals.

Celtics and Lakers every year is the right thing.

I do not like the all star game. I want games were the player play to win. So I will not watch the game. However for the people that do enjoy the game.... Have fun.

would you watch a UFC fight if you knew the results were rigged?
when did the NBA become a mafia? Case #1 Tim Donaghy.

I assume you're not happy that McGrady isn't starting in the ASG. What exactly has he done to warrant being a starter? If you're fuming about how Nash suddenly leaped ahead of McGrady in the end, yeah it's kinda ridiculous but starting T-Mac over Nash or Chris Paul would be just wrong.

Now THAT would be a reason to boycott the All-Star Game. McGrady hasn't done **** so far this season, and I'd be inclined to skip the game if he's starting.

I know that to some fans, Iverson doesn't deserve it either, but AI's case is leaps and bounds more justifiable. Here's a hall-of-fame player who contemplated retiring in mid-season, returned to his old franchise, and is making a big contribution and helping the team win games.

so I dont get it, if you want to boycott the NBA for being rigged, why dont you boycott every game of the season, or boycott the NBA finals? why just the all-star game? and if you are mad because your favorite player didnt get in, thats bad, the ASG, already lost a lot of credibility, its just a popularity contest.

I was going to write a full fledged rebuttal but for all seriousness aside, would you not agree that the all-star game has gone downhill every year after 2001?
