Anybody else looking forward to the Amir Khan-Paulie Malignaggi this Saturday at The Theater at Madison Square Garden on HBO Boxing After Dark at 8:30 p.m. ET. The fight will be for the WBA light welterweight title. Khan has had a lot of hype and will be making his stateside debut. Malignaggi is coming off two fights against Houston's Juan Diaz where the first fight was a draw while the second fight he won by unanimous decision. Let's be real, he should have won the first fight as well but the fight was in Houston. It should be a good fight.

actually Diaz won the first fight, I was there

as far as this match, Paulie is freaking annoying to me but he's entertaining, I'd watch it if I'm near a TV with HBO, or catch a stream of it.

I hate Khan more than I hate Paulie. But honestly Paulie doesn't really have a chance. If he had some power then he could probably beat Khan. Khan is too fast and strong for Paulie though. That is the Amir's main flaw, is his chin.

Pauli won that first fight with Diaz and thats why I jumped off the Diaz bandwagon. Now he has the nerve to try to fight Marquez again. I predict another knockout. As for Saturday fight I will record it and watch it when I get home from work hopfully it's a good one or at least one of the fighters impress me with good boxing skills aly Sergio Martinez when he beak Kelly Pavlik ass. That was a work of art.

Amir is gonna whoop that ass. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if Glass Jaw Khan gets dropped. Paule has hands made of feathers but its boxing and anyone can get knocked out. He rocked Diaz, who has a better chin than Khan.

Khan spars with Pacquiao. Pretty sure Malignaggi's gonna be cake-walk, plus, if there was ever a boxer in modern history who had his hype overtake his skills than Hatton, it's Malignaggi.

Khan has even more hype and hasn't done ****. A win against Paulie won't mean **** though. He is supposed to beat this guy. Khan should be fighting Maidana, Alexander, or Bradley. Atleast fight the winner of Ortiz-Campbell, which by the way, I think will be a much better fight than this one.

Looking forward to finally seeing the Roach coached prodigy Khan. Paulie is annoying but entertaining. I'm glad he brings the "character" element back into boxing. He's fun to watch because you just want to see him get knocked out so bad.

And I give you a piece of news from the weigh-in:

    Associated Press
NEW YORK -- Junior welterweight champion Amir Khan and former titleholder Paulie Malignaggi were at the center of a brawl during the weigh-in for their title fight.

After making the 140-pound limit in a hotel ballroom Friday, the fighters turned to face each other for the traditional stare-down photo opportunity. They began exchanging words and a pushing match ensued, with close to a hundred people rushing toward the stage.

The room was cleared and order restored after a few minutes. No injuries were reported.

Khan (22-1, 16 KOs) is defending his title for the first time in the United States at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

He's taking on the hometown guy in Malignaggi, who lives in Brooklyn.

The fight will be televised by HBO.

Does anybody have any information about HBO's apparent policy to not show the ring girls anymore? I am curious why they have taken this stance. Showtime still shows them, but HBO does not seem to anymore. Personally, I would rather watch a ring girl between rounds than watch some guy yelling "You got to be busier" at the fighter.

    LOL!!

I hope they have a double knock out or some ****.

I know Paulie is an ass clown, but Khan may seem like a douche bag too. Hell, he's British!
