I would pick Mayweather by KO or tKO over Judah. Mayweather is just as fast as Judah and has much better skill. Judah's chin is also very suspected, if he starts dancing again, Mayweather has the skill to finish him off.

Tarver/Hopkins I think is another mismatch. Hopkins is too old and he never has the devastating KO power. It's unlikely he can hurt Tarver. So he would have to win a descision. Tarver may be able to just simply outwork Hopkins. I think Tarver would win by decision.

And I think De la Hoya would beat Mayorga. Mayorga hasn't looked impressive at all in his last few fighters. He looked one dimensional and couldn't land any big punches against the top fighters. Even though de la Hoya hasn't fought for a while, I think he is still much better than Mayorga.

Why didn't you mention Cotto/Malignaggi? I would probably be watching that over Hopkins/Tarver. I don't think Malignaggi can beat Cotto, but I really haven't seen much of Malignaggi to really tell. He certainly talks a good talk though.

the mayweather/judah fight is gonna be the least intriguing out of the 3 you mentioned. i wasnt impressed by the fact that judah got his ass handed to him by baldomero...mayweather is gonna wreck him.

the hopkins/tarver fight should be a regular that goes all the way and will end up going to the judges. i dont see any knockouts being dealt here but the size advantage that tarver has on hopkins should be pretty crazy to watch. tarver coming off a victory against roy jones and hopkins coming off of his consecutive losses to taylor could easily mean the end of the road for the legend hopkins if he does indeed lose this fight.

the mayorga/de la hoya fight is gonna be the best fight outta these three. with all the **** talking that has been going on pre fight this one is gonna be a dandy. de la hoya promises a knock out while mayorga and his crazy ass tantics will definitely fight back...this guy mayorga is a nut (ie trinidad vs. mayorga in nyc) he can take a punch and has a solid chin. outta all three of these fights i will definitely not miss this one at all.

Me, slickvick69, that's pretty much almost it as far as boxing fans on this BBS goes.

    :(

Mayweather easily over Judah - Floyd validates his p4p best accolades, again

Hopkins v. Tarver. If styles make fights, this one is Ambien. Tough to call, will watch the replay on HBO.

DLH easily over Mayorga - Mayorga's spent and has been so for a while. Great theater though.

im a huge boxing fan. my dad has always been a boxing fan so i kinda grew up watching it with him. Mayweather/Judah.... only way judah has a chance is if he somehow out-hustles floyd, which wont happen or if he catches his with a lucky shot. other than that, its a fairly easy win for floyd, easy as in he wont have to work so hard, the fight will come to him.

Tarver/Hopkins.... meh... Hopkins is still the man in my opinion. tarver loses by decision..OR tko in 11th.

Oscar/Ricardo..man this is a circus, delahoya is gonna destroy this clown. i just want oscar to hurry up and fight mayweather for his last fight.

I don't know too much about current fighters--ever since Frijoles DeLaHoya beat JCC --but I know me some classic fighters from back in the day. I follow only when there's one that's getting a lot of interest like Mayorga/DeLaHoya

I follow every now and then. Did you post in the Mayorga vs. DeLaHoya thread?

EDIT: never mind, I just saw your # up in the 17 k's... :D Welcome.

I am also a hardcore fan of the sweet science.

Mayweather is way too slick for Judah.

Tarver takes it again. I hate to say it but I firmly believe it, won't be close this time.

I can't wait for the DLH fight. Last guy that questioned his manhood ended up getting messed up big time!

My interest in boxing has waned ever since Prince Naseem left boxing.

I don't think he'll be coming back anytime soon after hearing of his car accident.

Did you hear about him wrecking his 500K Mclaren-Mercedes? He is awaiting sentencing on this case, as he injured another person pretty badly. He apparently hit someone head on, while attempting a pass. Odds are he might go to jail for a little time.

I'm a huge boxing fan also. My father sold a car the the Rocky Juarez family!!! Good people from what I heard.

Mayweather will defeat Judah rather easily and most likely by KO.

Hopkins losses to fighters that are bigger than he is and Tarver is WAY bigger.

DLH will box Mayorga's ears off. The begining of the fight may be boring as DLH boxes Mayorga and concentrates on going to the body to set up a possible KO.

I think Mayweather and Oscar both win. Hopkins just has not looked good his last couple fights. I don't know if that has more to do with Taylor's skill or his decline.

Some boxing writer put it best about the Prince saying, "He does everything wrong except lose."

His first fight in the US against Kevin Kelley, might be one of the greatest fights I've ever seen.

But what made me a believer of him was when he knocked out Augie Sanchez so badly, "Kid Vegas" had to be taken out with a strecher. Great stuff.
