Who else is excited about this fight? This could easily be the fight of the decade, and could possibly set up a matchup between cotto (if he wins) and paul williams for King of the Welterweights.

I am more of a Margarito fan but I don't really care who wins, I just want a great fight. Maybe this fight could make Floyd come back one more time and have him fight one of these guys, preferably cotto.

    Predictions?

I would love to see floyd mayweather vs. Cotto. Cotto may be too good for Margarito I fear.

I know williams won his rematch with Quintana but I don't see him as a big money draw for Cotto. Cotto Hatton would be a huge $ fight but since Cotto is a huge WW and Hatton didn't impress at WW I see it as a huge thrashing of Hatton that he would be loathe to take. Andre Berto might be a good fight if they did it at MSG.

Berto is a good fighter, but he needs a couple more good opponents before he can step in the ring with Cotto. I don't think Cotto is really much better than Margarito. Margarito is hard-nosed, comes forward and wants to destroy you. Cotto has developed some great boxing skills as of late so he has to use them and not get into a street fight with Antonio. Otherwise it will be a short night for Cotto, because unlike Margarito, he doesn't have a chin that can withstand big punches.

Can't wait though! Hatton is garbage,he has never beaten anyone noteworthy other than Kosta Tszyu, and it wasn't Tszyu in his prime.

I don't know about that though I did see him get a bit discombobulated by a few shots from DaMarcus Corley, no huge puncher.

This should be a good one, I'd love to see Cotto fight Floyd but sadly I don't see it happening.

Undercard looks like it should be good too. No heavyweights thank God.

Theres also some other fights there we can get excited about.
Juan Diaz and Rocky Juarez are both fighting on the same night at Toyota Center. Unfortunately the opponents aren't going to give our hometown boxers the best competition.

Rocky will probably lose again and Diaz will win by UD.

If most of the fights go the distance or atleast 8-10 rounds... I would say the main event will be around 10:30 or 10:45. Otherwise 10pm, if most fights end in knockouts, which is likely. But if hes home by 10 you should have no problem. Even if the main even could start at 10, they usually will run some videos of Cotto and Margarito knocking out previous opponents. Don't bother going to bars to watch fights, its chaos. The last one I went to was at Wings N More on 45N and Tidwel. It was the fight between Roy Jones Jr. and Jose Ruiz.

Dunno if yall heard about this but anyway, blacks and mexicans started talkin trash after the fight and all hell broke loose. People were using gumball machines as weapons, it was insane. Since then, I stay away from bars and restaurants for watching fights. I just buy em and have my uncles and cousins over and watch it at home.

I think some of those under cards won't be shown on TV. That was how it was one of the times I went to vegas.

Coach's Pub in midtown is the only one I've found. I called Doghouse and BW3's in midtown and they don't have it. I'm planning to just download the torrent later tonight and watch it then.

Can't wait for the fight to start. I haven't watched a fight since Cotton v. Mosley last year! I even skipped the Pacquiao fight earlier.
